Yup, it's official! Ate and Job are now engaged to be married on June 16, 2007! 
I'm sooo happy for them. Couldn't ask for a better "bayaw" than Job. 
He's a very nice person and I always say this to those who ask about him "kulang na lang tubuan ng HALO sa sobrang bait." 
The "official" proposal took place last December 27 at General Santos City. To read more about what transpired that night, visit this site: Will You Marry Me? I was teary-eyed when Jam narrated the story to me while we were on our way to Isla Reta. It was tears of joy because Ate got what she wished for. They had been talking about this "marriage" thingy for quite some time but she didn't want to finalize their plans yet not until Job would give her a ring. And she got it! Diamond pa! 
So with the ring and the fireworks, Job was able to move to the next level - the PAMAMANHIKAN which took place last January 2 at the Japanese Tunnel Restaurant. 
They chose that place because of its ambiance - far from the hustle bustle of the city - and of course the FOOD! Yummy! 
Everything went on smoothly. Ate did more of the talking because Papa becomes tongue-tied on serious occasions like that. 
All he did was nod, smile, grin and eat!
