This time of year can be extremely hectic! We have to shop for presents for loved ones, plan parties, clean the house, cook meals, take care of the kids... It just never seems to stop. Here's some holiday tips to help keep you sane.
1. Shop early
I think that we are all guilty of waiting until the last minute on Christmas Eve to get a gift for someone. It's sad, but true. This year, try to plan a little further ahead and have your Christmas shopping done early. One major advantage and aid in that is online shopping. You're already on the computer checking Facebook or playing online casino games, so open an extra window in your browser and get some shopping done. You can find amazing deals, free shipping, bonus gifts, and numerous other perks. But, you cannot wait until the last minute, otherwise that great deal won't arrive until January 4th.
2. Keep it Simple
We all want to have the most lavish Christmas decorations and parties, but honestly what is the point? Unless you get them all up in November, they are only seen by a handful of people on one day of the year. So, my advice is to keep your decorations simple. Instead of decking everything out in red and green with Santa figures splattered everywhere, go for something in a blue and silver with snowmen. That way, for those busy moms who don't get decorations down right after Christmas, it's simply winter themed. It can stay up as long as there is snow on the ground!
3. Have Fun!
Don't forget that the holidays aren't just about gifts and parties; they're about spending time with loved ones. If your house isn't perfect, who cares? Wouldn't you rather make a huge mess with your friends and family than sit in a spotless house all alone?
