Sleepless Nights

Having trouble sleeping? Don't spend another night tossing and turning in your bed. Follow these simple steps and you will be in dreamland sooner than you think!

- Follow a regular sleep schedule. Sleep and wake up at the same time everyday.

- Watch out what you eat especially during dinnertime. Avoid eating too much and avoid caffeinated drinks such as coffee because the caffeine can keep you awake. Smoking can also disrupt your sleep as it contains nicotine which can stimulate your brain.

- Make your bedroom conducive to sleep. Dim the lights and play some soothing music if you like. And wash your beddings regularly. You can use lavender scented detergent soaps because the smell has a calming effect.

- Exercise regularly!

- Make your own bedtime ritual. You can take a warm bath, read your fave book, or do some stretching before going to bed.

If all else fail, well, you can try some of the best sleep aid out there or better yet, consult a sleep doctor.
