Opting for Some Less Spooky Pumpkin Decorations

Guest post written by Heather Burns

I love really scary things. I've always gone and seen scary movies as soon as they came out. By now, not a lot of scary movies really scare me. But now that I have two small children, I want to make sure that I don't let them see any of that scary stuff for a long time. Their minds are so impressionable right now that I don't want to do them any potential harm by letting them see stuff that will scare them like that. So for Halloween decorations, I've decided to go with the cute instead of the spooky, at least until they're a little bit older and can understand the scary stuff is for fun.

So I've been making some of our Halloween decorations myself just for fun and to also make sure that they're not spooky. I looked online with my wireless internet Salt Lake City to find all kinds of ideas for decor. There were tons of cute ideas, which was a relief to me because I'm so used to all of the scary decorations!

I went with a theme of pumpkin decorations because those are actually easier to leave up through Thanksgiving. I don't have tons of time because of racing around after my kids so I'm for easier stuff.
