Now I know the difference between a standard king size bed and a California king size bed. The latter is longer and narrower as explained by the salesman when I went out last weekend to check out some bedroom furniture los angeles. And I'm glad I asked because I don't want to get the wrong size when I buy a new bedroom set this January. Hubby and I decided to upgrade to a king size bed to make room for the second baby which by the way is still a pending project. LOL! As for our old bed, we'll just put it in our guest room.
