Moving in Our Own Home... Soon!

The prospect of moving in our very own home early next year has left me feeling all jittery and excited. We already sought the help of a real estate agent last week and he gave us a listing of properties for sale at the north side of SLC where we plan to reside permanently.

And just the other day, we went to look at some of the properties we liked on the listings. The first one is a rambler --- a single family home with three beds and two and a half baths. The other one is a townhouse located in a nice community with the same number of beds and baths. The only difference between the two is the garage. The rambler can accommodate two cars whereas the townhouse can only hold one car. Although we liked both properties but hubby and I decided not to make an offer yet. We don't want to rush things up and of course we still want to see other properties before we make a final decision. Anyway, we still have a few months left to find our home sweet home and hopefully we will have enough money by then to buy new appliances and furniture. Hubby and I both agreed that we'll dispose of our old furniture and just buy new ones so everything will be brand new. Isn't that exciting? Now I have to check dealsdirect.com.au and see if I can get a good bargain when I buy tv stands, night stands, ottomans, bar stools and other home furniture when it's time to move.
